The Absence of Pain -5
Romans 8:16-18
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
As we conclude the study on the absence of pain, we have come to understand the scriptures with a greater understanding that the 'suffering of this present time is about the Glory of God.' Romans 8:18 Many of us have expectations about pain based on Mark 16:17-18 but fail to ascribe the understanding the fullness of what Jesus meant and said. Indeed pain will pass (Psalms 147:3), but how we live with pain shall be reckoned with in due season, and most importantly, we understand how to build a relationship with God to lead us past pain. Will you witness the absence of pain or put yourself in a position to suffer without Christ?
Jehovah Magen, The LORD my Shield - Deuteronomy 33:29; we thank You for being the Lord my Shield. We praise You for exploring the sufferings of this present time. We praise You for the opportunity to suffer with Christ in His pain as we prepare for the absence of pain. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who bear the pain of our relationship, so that; we who are the Joint-heirs with Christ bear witness of His suffering. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
