Healing Pain During Covid-19
These verses collectively and individually address our pain, how we identify with adversity, and answers from God. This collection of comforting scriptures will help guide you toward whole and complete healing.
The Call For The Afflicted, 3b
James 5:13-18
Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
The paradigm of prayer has a significant role in the salvation and deliverance of the sick. When people pray without understanding the differential diagnosis of conditions or diseases, they bypass the symptoms of illness that cause sickness. There is a most certain taxonomy when examining the pathology of the sick, and there is a lack of expertise when it comes to proseucheology (the study of prayer). Seek the Lord continually in Prayer (Deuteronomy 4:29; II Chronicles 7:14; Psalm 19:14; Psalm 139:13-14). Here is a pronouncement- Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name- Psalm 100:4. In your address on behalf of those who are sick, how will you approach the Father?
Jehovah Adon Kol Ha-arets, The LORD, the Lord of All the Earth - Joshua 3:11; we thank You for being the Lord, our Lord of All the Earth. We praise You for the clarity of differential diagnosis concerning the pathology for sickness. Therefore, we declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who study the taxonomy of sickness; so that, we who pray for the sick will glorify the Lord. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with the anointing of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
