The Faith Of The Elders
James was conscientious about letting us know when and who needs to pray for what situation, James 5:13 says if you are afflicted the pray. Go before the Lord for relief. To be afflicted means to have a problem with pain or suffering, and James says, pray for this condition.
In the issue of sickness, we are instructed to call for the elders of the church, not the aged or seniors but those who study the Word and are prepared to handle spiritual matters. Elders did not come from instant oaks boxes they were prepared by experience and wisdom and were ready to engage on whatever happened to the Body of Christ. They didn't work on everybody; they only worked on those who were believers because they anointed them with Holy Oil, and the prayer of Faith saved them.
James 5:14
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
God My King, Eli Maelekhi (Psalm 68:24); we thank You for the Faith of the Elders who prepared themselves to serve the Kingdom. We praise You for the anointing oil blessed by the name of the Lord. We decree and declare blessings upon those who speak the prayer of Faith, so that; the Kingdom of God will prosper and our sins forgiven. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
