The Future of Pain- 7

Revelation 21:1-4

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

The "He" in this reference is Jesus and God (Revelation 21:5-6). In the life of believers, Jesus must dwell in our hearts. Note that a tabernacle and the old heaven is a temporary dwelling place of God's presence, but the new heaven and the new earth will be the location of a permanent place (Revelation 21:3). The relief of pain as we know it is removed in the presence of God Almighty and Jesus His Son, whom He gave all power (Matthew 28:18-20). Will you dare to experience the pain-free existence of the new earth and new heaven?

Elohei Chasdi, God of my kindness, goodness, and faithfulness - Psalm 59:17; we thank You for being the God of my kindness, goodness, and faithfulness. We praise You for dwelling with us and in us. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who seek to live with You on the new earth; so that, when You return as the Groom, we will be with You. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with the anointing of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
