The Future of Pain- 9
Revelation 21:1-4
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Looking at the future of things to come and in this situation, the future of pain, God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. This passage means that He will be up close and personal, Isaiah 25:8. With pain usually comes pain; the overabundance of pain makes us cry, and tears accompany the pain. "God will wipe away all tears," meaning whatever the cause of the pain with tears, God will wipe it all away. When David (Psalm 42:3) suffered so in his soul, he had tears for dinner. He remembered the days when God overshadowed him, and he was grateful, but when we are without God, there is much pain. Can God wipe away your tears?
Jehovah Hashopet, The LORD the Judge - Judges 11:27; we thank You for being our Lord the Judge of Heaven. We praise You for Your presence which comforts us in our times of pain. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who desire to be comforted by You on the new earth; so that, when You wipe away all our tears, we will pain no more. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with the anointing of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
