The Healing Visit - 6
Jeremiah 15:15-18
O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke. Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation. Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, [which] refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, [and as] waters [that] fail?
Whose name are you called by (2 Chronicles 7:14)? Can the Name of the Lord identify you, or are you just associating with the Name of Jesus for convenience? To be recognized is a position of subjection; it determines where you belong or who you belong to, understanding that the "who" reflects who you represent (Isaiah 43:7). When you pray, are you representing the Lord (Jesus) who you request to remember you, visit you, take longsuffering, and suffered rebuke? If His words are found in your heart, and you have consumed them, then you will not fear rebuke and will rejoice for His Grace (Jeremiah 14:9). Will you identify with the Lord God of Host?
El Nekamoth, God that Avengeth- Psalm 18:47; we thank you God that Avenges us. We praise You for the name we are called by, Lord God of Hosts, our healer. Therefore, we decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who are called by Your Name; so that, we who You remember, visit, and know will rejoice in the knowledge of Your Kingdom. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with the anointing of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
