The Liberty of Obedience

Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)

Jesus has indeed overcome the world the day he gave His life for all on the cross. Take peace and be encouraged, knowing it is Him who is mighty to save. He will not leave you or forsake you.

The Liberty of Obedience

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

The troubles of Moses are a reflection of understanding in this passage of scripture. God told him to stop and go no further than the Jordan River. Moses was afraid the Children would stray if he were not there to lead them. Do our ambitions turn us into snares or traps saved for the proud? Are we following a path of self-inflicted nonsense?

El Shaddai, Almighty God- Genesis 17:1, 2; we come in a spirit of liberty to exhale Thee with thanksgiving. For the strength of good courage, we fear not but lift praise to Your Name. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who are not afraid of obeying You, so that; we who live by the Faith of Your Son will not fail. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
