Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)
Though we aren’t promised an easy life, we are told that Christ will be there with us when we believe in Him, that he won’t give us more than we can handle with His help, and even our hard times can be used to glorify God.
The Lord Empowers
Isaiah 40:29-31 He giveth power to the faint; and to [them that have] no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.
The Lord in Isaiah 40, theses passages outline His desire to empower the faint. The faint are the ones who are in the Body of Christ needing roots; they are like seedings, purposed but have not developed to a place of establishment in the Lord. The faint are the ones that Satan seeks to devour, and without support from those who are rooted and booted, they become causalities of war. This war is better understood when we come to the understanding that standing together is the solution to divide and conquer. Satan has a strategy to divide the faint from the strong and conquer. How will you stand?
El Bethel, The God of the House of God- Genesis 35:7. We establish thanksgiving with our hearts. We come with a spirit of oneness to praise you for empowerment. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who were faint but wait on You, so that; the faithful who wait shall mount up with wings as eagles, run and not be weary, they shall be faint. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
