Hope in the Midst of a Crisis
The Master says, Fear Not!
Mark 5:35-36
While he was still speaking, there came from the ruler’s house some who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?” But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe.”
While talking to the woman with the issue of blood, someone from the head priest house came bearing word that his daughter is dead. The Master of our Souls said, “fear not.” He spoke as God and with the authority of God, and the Spirit of God acted without reservation. Is fear blocking your ears from hearing what the Master is saying? Is your fear of the news overwhelming your Faith in God?
El-Shaddai —Genesis 49:22-26. This name means “God Almighty,” the God who is all-sufficient and all-bountiful, the source of all blessings, and we give Him thanks for all that He does. He is all-sufficient and is Lord over all things wherein we who believe in Him also trust Him, who can keep us from falling, and for this, we give Him praise. We decree and declare blessings upon those who with Faith listen to Him who presents us faultless before His presence in Glory, so that; when we hear His voice saying, “Do not fear, only believe,” we stand with assurance. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
