The Peace of Christ

Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)

Though we aren’t promised an easy life, we are told that Christ will be there with us when we believe in Him, that he won’t give us more than we can handle with His help, and even our hard times can be used to glorify God.

The Peace of Christ

1 Peter 5: 8-10

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].

During times of suffering and tribulation, we, even as the children of God, need encouragement. Soldiers look for inspiration from officers and leaders in their groups, and in the art of war, there are influential teachings on motivation. The apostle Peter strikes up Christ’s provision of hope to the weary, telling us about our adversary who comes like a roaring lion, but defeating him with Faith. Do you adhere to the God of all Grace through Christ Jesus?

El Bethel, The God of the House of God - Genesis 35:7. For your never stopping Grace, we thank you. For the inspirational words of peace spoken during our time of tribulation, we offer praise. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who stand sober and vigilant in Your Word, so that; the steadfastness of our Peace is evident with our afflictions. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
