The Real Metrics 2

Performance In Christianity series

The Real Metrics 2

As we step into this subset series focusing on metrics, we are presented with an exciting consideration. The Christian ministry rarely addresses this issue of Performance in Christianity with metrics. The why is not as important as our focus is on the application, now that we are aware that it is a Biblical principle.

Psalm 119:105 The Hebrew letter "Nun" is the leading character in this verse, and it represents "faithful." We may look at this as an address, as to the faithful, Thy word is a lamp, a source of Light unto our feet. Being able to see where we are walking in the darkness of this world is vitally important. In Biblical days, lamps were used to aid in seeing through the darkness and spiritually speaking having the Light is our measure for performance. Without Light we will stumble in the dark because we can not see our way.

The second part of this scripture directs us to our path. Some paths are short, and others are long. The important thing is knowing what path you are on. You should have some idea of where this path will take you, if not, then you need to avail yourself to the Holy Spirit for "Basic Instructions Before Living Eternally." In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path, Proverbs 3:6.

When you look back over your life, there is an opportunity to see how far you have traveled in this Journey for the cause of Christ. Fear not, for this is the day that the Lord has made (Proverbs 118:24). Have you ever looked back and wondered how you got over (Genesis 50:15-20)?

Psalm 119:105

NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The LORD God of Recompense, Jehovah El Gemuwal (Jeremiah 51:56), we thank You for evaluating the strength of faithfulness. We praise You for our understanding of Basic Instructions Before Living Eternally. We decree and declare blessings upon those who measure the Light of the lamp, so that; by finding our path and noting how we got over. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
