The Season of Healing (Time to Gain and A Time to Lose)
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To everything [there is] a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck [what is] planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.
Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2 What do we have to gain? The perdition Christ saw in us only left us with one thing gain, victory through redemption. It was God’s first promise in Genesis 3:14-15 to redeem us from the fate of self-inflicted nonsense. Solomon saw the season and named it as a season of Kairos and knew that if we could gain salvation, we could also lose it by man’s rebellious nature. Are you in a lugubrious situation and need to gain salvation?
Elohei Ma’uzzi, God of My Strength - 2 Samuel 22:33; we thank You for being the God of my strength, our strong tower, and wing beneath our wings. We praise You for allowing us to gain the season for salvation. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who see our perdiction, so that; we who seek redemption will find hope in eternal life. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
