The Season of Healing (Time to Mourn and Dance)
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To everything [there is] a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck [what is] planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.
God’s time is measured in seasons, and they are not numbered in days; they are prophetic. We can not see the time of God, but He reveals His Will in His Word. There is a time for mourning; what we call sorrow or deep regret or sadness is based on emotions. We feel emotions in our soul, not our spirit. When we mourn, consider why we mourn; what is the cause of mourning, personal or spiritual? When God gives us a season, we have to consider what He shows us during this season. How are we to consider the dance? Is this a physical dance, a stomping of the feet, rhythm, or pattern that lacks spiritual context? What makes you mourn and dance?
El Hayyay, God of My Life - Psalm 42:8; we thank You for being the God of my life. We praise You for giving us a time to mourn and a time to dance. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who mourn in the Spirit, so that; we who dance will dance for His Glory. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
