The Season of Healing (Time to Plant and Harvest)
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To everything [there is] a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck [what is] planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.
In the episodic pattern of life, we observe the agricultural association comparing a beginning with an ending. When we plant, there is a purpose, and in these Biblical times, crops were grown to harvest. We expect the produce we plant to be plucked up in due season with proper nurturing and cultivating. God exemplifies His purpose for planting us as we shall be plucked up in due season for His purpose if we live right; if not, then we become the chaff of Satan as Covid-19. In your time of growth, will you be the plant of God through Jesus Christ or the chaff blown in the wind?
Elohei Tehillati, God of my praise - Psalm 109:1; we thank You O God of our praise for it is in You that we are planted for the harvest. We praise You from the unity of our oneness of understanding of our purpose. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who embrace the purpose of the Spirit, so that; we who kill the evil in our hearts will heal in His season. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
