Worry Goes Away When We Focus On Him
When we keep our focus where it needs to be, on Jesus, worry about COVID-19 tends to melt away.
No one can pray and worry at the same time. - Max Lucado
The Seed of Sin is Worry, pt 6 (Perfective: The Joy)
Hebrews 12:1-2
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Jesus knew that there would be Joy after the cross. Facing death on the cross was ignominious, painful, and vile. The sacrifice of the cross was His destiny (Isaiah 53). He knew that Joy would come in the morning after His midnight experience (Psalm 30:1-5). What will you see before the end of your race?
Jehovah Tsidkenu, The LORD Our Righteousness - Jeremiah 23:6; we thank you for freeing us from the sin of worry. Our Lord of Righteousness, we praise You for the Grace that faced the cross. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who know the Joy of Jesus who endured the cross, so that; we who know the Grace of God will not stumble or fall as we press toward the finish line of Salvation. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
