Worry Goes Away When We Focus On Him
When we keep our focus where it needs to be, on Jesus, worry about COVID-19 tends to melt away.
No one can pray and worry at the same time. - Max Lucado
The Seed of Sin is Worry, pt 8 (Perfective: The Position)
Hebrews 12:1-2
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
In our approach to the finish line, we face the last step in the perfective act and that is the position. The position is to sit down at the right hand of the throne of God. What finer place could we command than to sit at the right hand of God (Act 7:55-56) beside Christ who stands beside our Living God who has interceded on our behalf. Running this race will establish us for eternity; if we hold to His hand, God's unchanging hand we will finish this race in victory. Will you be able to claim your seat at the right hand of God?
Go’el, Kinsman Redeemer - Exodus 15:13; we extend our thank to You for allowing to envision sitting in Your presense. We praise You for the endurance of the cross, despising His shame for the joy that is in Him. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who seek to sit in His presence, so that; we will be with the one who bleed, gave His life and rose from the grave to save a wretch like me. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
