The Strength of the Lord - 3
Psalm 41:1-4
[[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.]] Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
The keeper of Souls will preserve us (Psalms 121:7). Preservation is not salvation; it projects an image of being kept, safe from harm, or destruction (Genesis 19:32-34, Luke 17:33); but salvation is a divine act which we consummate by choice with Jesus Christ (Psalms 37:39, Romans 1:16, Ephesians 1:13). Those who consider the poor, the Lord will deliver out of trouble, preserve them, keep them, and bless them all because He can (Philippians 1:19). Can your choices save you?
Jehovah Shammah, The LORD Is There - Ezekiel 48:35; we thank You for being the Lord that is there! We praise You for Your preservation. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who are preserved, kept, and blessed upon this earth; so that, we who do the work of the Lord will prosper. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with the anointing of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
