Reasons To Hope
Here a few biblical reasons for hope.
The Water of Eternal Life
John 4:13-14
Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Jesus presents the woman at the well with a complex illustration of her water vs. His water. There is a conclusion about which water you will drink, water for the body, or the water that will transform us beyond the desire of this natural body. Jesus announces that His water will quench the thirst of mankind for eternity. His water gives us hope, and in us, it springs like a bubbling well from deep within. Will you drink His water?
Adonai —2 Samuel 7:18-20. This name means “Master” or “Lord.” God, our Adonai, calls all God’s people to acknowledge themselves as His servants, claiming His right to reign as Lord of our lives, and for this, we give Him thanks. For the thirst that can be quenched by His sacrifice of the Holy Spirit sent to dwell among us, we give Him praise in a spirit of oneness. We declare and decree blessings upon those who drink from the well of living water, which never runs dry, so that; those that thirst will long for eternal life. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
