Understanding Temptation, 3

Spiritual and Emotional Healing

Sin, abuse, neglect, rejection, betrayal all cause significant emotional and spiritual pain that hurt just as physical pain does. God, our Great Physician, can ultimately heal our broken hearts and bind our wounds, healing and making us whole. Spiritual and emotional healing is often a process with steps that we need to put action behind. Use these scriptures to guide your heart and mind toward full recovery.

Understanding Temptation, 3

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

The question is not if, but when, you are tempted. When the desires of the flesh ride you to the point of considering what will you do? All temptation is common; therefore, all flesh is subject to the commonalities of temptation. James 1:12, blessed is the one who overcomes trials of the flesh. Proverbs 6:28 poses the question, Can a man walk on hot coals and his feet not be burned? Only in Jesus Christ can we stay victorious over self-inflicted nonsense (1 Corinthians 15:57). What happens when you are tempted?

Elohim Ozer Li, God My Helper - Psalm 54:4; we thank You God my helper for the generous gifts bestowed upon us. We praise You for explaining to us the simplicity of temptation. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who know the commonality about temptation, so that; we who hear Your Word will stay faithful to You. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
