Don’t Worry, Trust In God
Have faith in God’s plan for your life, and trust that he has “plans to give you hope and a future.”
“Trusting God does not mean believing he will do what you want, but rather believing he will do everything he knows is good.” ― Ken Sande
We Can Resist Every Temptation
1 Corinthians 10:12-13
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
The elixir of temptation is a base element of worry. Since worry breaks our Trust with God, we find that temptation builds our need to worry. Hebrews 10:22 leads us to a greater understanding of a pure heart. When temptation lowers our conscientious to a level of deception, we fall into the insecurity of worry about things like Covid-19. Can faithfulness to God keep us from temptation?
Jehovah, Lord, Master, and relational God - Genesis 2:4; we thank You for being the Master and Relational God you are to us. We praise You for revealing what is so common to our hearts in temptation. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who resist the things that throw us off balance, in that; we who know that our Trust comes from a release of worry which separates us from God. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
