When Struggling with Loss? Pt 2
Loss is often considered a negative thing when we take it personally, nevertheless it happens without our consent. God allows tribulations and troubles to make us strong; no test, no testimony. The discourse presented in James 1:3-6 states that there is to be a trying or testing of our Faith and that we are to have patience in Christ. The perfect work of patience is the work of Faith, the texture of Jesus Christ, is our foundation, a test of our fortitude is the conclusion to what makes us strong, so that we want for nothing. Ephesians 6:13 tells us to stand firm.
Paul writing to the Romans in the ecclesia in Romans 5:3, that we give glory to God in our tribulations because, Romans 8:28 leads us to know that "all things work together for the good to them that love God…". Without a test, our testimony would be empty and worthless, we could not bear witness to the Glory that shall be revealed in us. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says our trials are only for a moment; but for us, in our earth suits it seems like an eternity.
Patience is the virtue of understanding, that leads us to wait on the Lord, as the Apostle further attributes in Romans 15:4 where he talks about the Old Testament is written for our learning and our engagement of patience. There were no microwaves in the Old Testament and neither in the New Testament, so instant gratification is not a principle of God's Word. If we are to pass the test we must pass it with works and faith in Jesus.
John 5:22-23 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
Blessed Savior, Father of Grace and Understanding, we thank You for the wisdom of Your Holy Spirit who by Christ saw fit to gift us. We praise You for the testimony of our tribulations that will Glorify Your Name. We decree and declare blessings upon wait upon You, so that; by our actions and deeds we see through this moment as a twinkling of an eye by Faith in the eternal Word of Your Son. So, now for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
