When Your Instinct Costs You! Pt. 1 of 3
Your desires are costing you your destiny. Our desires for personal things cloud our spiritual judgment. We have two sources of instinct, our nature, and our spirit--humus man (1 Corinthians 15:44). Romans 2:14-16, For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Is what's inside of you powerful enough to overcome your self-inflicted nonsense? The provocation of your spiritual instinct is powerful enough to drive you from rational thoughts to the limits of your moral compass on this side of the spectrum of understanding. Feeding what feeds you is a determining factor and the cost is insurmountable when we chose nature over spiritual. Matthew 15:19-20, avers that out of our heart comes evil thoughts, but we look at the exterior of our bodies and think that we are sullied by unclean hands.
Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
God that Avengeth, El Nekamoth (Psalm 68:24), we thank You for Your Wisdom is above ours. We praise You for the instinct to temper our desires for things that don't bring You Glory. We decree and declare blessings upon those by following Your Word understand the principal thing, so that; by obeying Your Commandments we establish understanding in the Kingdom of God. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
