Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)
Though we aren’t promised an easy life, we are told that Christ will be there with us when we believe in Him, that He won’t give us more than we can handle with His help, and even our hard times can be used to glorify God.
Where Peace Comes From
2 Thessalonians 3:16
Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
This token of expectation is the salutation or utterance of departure from Paul in his second letter to the Church of Thessalonica. It is a form of blessing (the placement of God’s Spirit inside of us), reminding us of His eternal Grace. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20. Our life is not our own; we who are in Christ belong to Christ as an act of volition. It is our choice to surrender to Him, and with Him comes the benefits of Joy, Love, Peace, and a Sound Mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Will you have real Peace?
El Emunah, The Faithful God - Deuteronomy 7:9; we establish the expectation of Peace in our lives, and we thank you. We give You praise for the promise of Jesus who brings Peace. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who look for Peace from Your Son, Jesus Christ, so that; the Lord is with us at all times. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
