Will You Have Faith, Trust, and Belief?

Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)

The following Bible verses on being strong show us biblical examples of strength and the faith it takes to trust in God so completely that He is your strength. Imagine how much faith it took for Abraham to be willing to sacrifice his long-awaited son Isaac.

Will You Have Faith, Trust, and Belief?

Genesis 22:1-3

And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, [here] I [am]. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only [son] Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.

Abraham's demeanor or outward appearance to approach an incredible task of presenting an offering that was a foreshadow of the sacrifice of Christ is a real testimony of strength. What we see in this passage of scripture are Faith, Trust, and Belief. Faith that God will provide, Trust that He gives, and; Belief that whatever He asks for He will provide? Most of us will have failed this test, but Abraham didn't. We are still struggling with

2 Corinthians 5:7, we walk by faith and not by sight.

El Emunah, The Faithful God - Deuteronomy 7:9; when we sought guidance, You lead us, and we give you thanks. In a spirit of oneness, we praise You for the Trust You have taught us. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those following Abraham's example, so that; by developing Faith, Trust, and Belief, we honor You. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
